Surgery on the knee joint is performed when conservative treatment is not indicated or has proven ineffective. Such interventions are characterized by pain in the postoperative period, which requires optimal pain relief. For this purpose, a combination of drugs is used - for parenteral and oral use, with different mechanisms of action.

During the webinar, the lecturer reveals the pathophysiology of pain after surgery; highlights the principles of an integrated approach to patient rehabilitation; examines a group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for oral use; introduces students to drugs that can effectively relieve pain for the patient, reduce the overall drug load, including reducing the dosage of narcotic analgesics.
