Osteoarthritis is one of the most common diseases in older people. A feature of this group of patients is the high prevalence of comorbid diseases and geriatric syndromes. Treatment of pain exacerbations in elderly patients with OA is characterized by a number of difficulties due to the limited use of a number of analgesics and a higher risk of adverse reactions from the use of drugs.

The lecture discusses complex issues of treating pain exacerbations in elderly patients with OA, taking into account comorbid diseases and geriatric syndromes.
